Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 4, 2026
TCGIQ is designed to be privacy-respecting. Here is exactly what the app does with data.
What we collect
When you search for a card, your search query is sent to our server, which forwards it to a pricing data provider:
- Pokemon TCG searches are forwarded to PokemonPriceTracker.
- One Piece TCG searches are forwarded to optcgapi.com (a free community-maintained API).
We do not attach any personal identifier, device ID, or user account to these requests.
What stays on your device
All other data stays local:
- Search history and favorite searches
- Vendor inventory, sales records, and show history (stored in the app's local database)
- Onboarding state and app preferences
None of this is synced to any server.
What we do not do
- We do not collect email addresses or names automatically. (If you include them voluntarily in a feedback submission, we use them only to reply to you.)
- We do not use analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs.
- We do not share your data with third parties for their own purposes. (We use service providers like PokemonPriceTracker, optcgapi.com, and Tally to process specific requests on our behalf, as described above.)
- We do not track you across apps or websites.
In-app purchases
If you purchase TCGIQ Pro, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple and our payment processor (RevenueCat). We receive a receipt confirming purchase status but no additional personal data.
Feedback form
If you submit feedback through the form on tcgiq.app/feedback, the data you enter is processed by Tally (our form provider) and emailed to us. We use it to respond to you (if you provided an email) and to improve TCGIQ. We do not share it with anyone else.
