What we collect

When you search for a card, your search query is sent to our server, which forwards it to a pricing data provider:

• Pokemon TCG searches are forwarded to PokemonPriceTracker.
• One Piece TCG and Riftbound searches are forwarded to JustTCG.

We do not attach any personal identifier, device ID, or user account to these requests.

We also count anonymous, aggregate feature usage — for example, how many times the upgrade screen was shown on a given day, how many searches found cards in each game, how many scanned cards were recognized, and how many cards were added to wishlists. Once a day the app also adds one to a count of active phones, grouped by roughly how long ago the app was first opened on that phone (for example "7 to 13 days"); your phone works out the range itself and sends only the range. These counts contain no account, device, or advertising identifier, no IP address, and nothing that links one action to another or to you. We use them only to understand which parts of the app people find useful.

Crash reports. When the app hits an error, it sends us a short report so we can fix it: the error message, the names of the few code locations involved, the app version, the iOS version, and whether the app closed. Before a report leaves your phone we remove web addresses' query text (where your searches would appear), email addresses and long numbers, and we do this again on our server. Reports contain no account, device, or advertising identifier and no IP address, are grouped by type of error rather than by person, and are deleted after 90 days.

What stays on your device

All other data stays local:

• Search history and favorite searches
• Vendor inventory, sales records, and show history (stored in the app's local database)
• Onboarding state and app preferences

None of this is synced to any server.

What we do not do

• We do not collect email addresses or names automatically. (If you include them voluntarily in a feedback submission, we use them only to reply to you.)
• We do not use third-party analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs. (We count anonymous, aggregate feature usage and receive anonymous crash reports ourselves — see "What we collect" above.)
• We do not share your data with third parties for their own purposes. (We use service providers like PokemonPriceTracker, JustTCG, and Tally to process specific requests on our behalf, as described above.)
• We do not track you across apps or websites.

In-app purchases

If you purchase TCGIQ Pro, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple and our payment processor (RevenueCat). We receive a receipt confirming purchase status but no additional personal data.

Feedback form

If you submit feedback through the form on tcgiq.app/feedback, the data you enter is processed by Tally (our form provider) and emailed to us. We use it to respond to you (if you provided an email) and to improve TCGIQ. We do not share it with anyone else.
